About The Service
Beechwood House is a step-down new short term, community-based accommodation service is situated in a quiet area of Southampton, which provides support for patients with mental and physical health who are clinically optimised to leave the inpatient ward, but waiting for non-clinical decisions or issues to be resolved.
The service takes an innovative approach to supporting patients who could benefit from continuing care in a community based, recovery-focused environment. Residents are supported with activities of daily living and any social or practical needs for up to a 12 week stay.
What to expect from Beechwood House:
– Service users will benefit from individual private, well decorated and furnished bedroom. There are shared communal areas, including kitchen, lounge, bathroom and garden. There is also private space for staff.
– Experienced and supportive staff on site 24/7.
– Promoting health and well-being.
– Practical support on offer, aimed at increasing skills and confidence in daily living skills.
– Meals provided including snacks and drinks.
– Prompting appointments attendances.
– CCTV for extra security and safety for service users.
– Laundry facilities.
